What happens to donated KAS if a KUDOS funding tier isn't reached?

If a KUDOS sponsorship tier falls short, the collected KAS may be converted to USDC and held in reserve for a future KUDOS-sponsored event. In other words, the funds don't disappear — they stay in a community pool earmarked for Kaspa ecosystem events. USDC is a stable digital currency pegged to the US dollar, so holding funds in USDC protects their value while the next event is being planned. This matters for donors because it means a contribution to a partially-funded tier still ends up supporting the Kaspa community, just through a different event down the road.
