How many transactions fit in a single Kaspa block?

A Kaspa block can hold roughly 158 to 274 typical transactions, depending on the transaction type. A standard 1:2 transaction (one coin source, two destinations — common when you send KAS and receive change) fits about 245 per block; a 2:2 transaction fits about 158 per block; and a KRC-20 token transfer fits about 274 per block. Kaspa's stated design goal is to preserve this 150–250 transactions-per-block range while capping block size at 125 KB. Transactions-per-block directly shapes how quickly the network can settle payments and token transfers, so this figure sets a concrete expectation for real-world throughput.
